Stunning views from the private onsen
Woke up to a breathtaking mountain view while soaking in the private onsen on the balcony. The staff was friendly, and the food was delightful, especially the kaiseki breakfast.
It would be nice to have a non-fish option for dinner, as the meal was heavily seafood-focused. Some guests might find it too limited.

The location is unbeatable, just a minute's walk from the train station, which makes it a prime spot for accessing the Hakone area. The private open-air bath with mountain views in the room provided an exceptional experience of relaxation, especially with the traditional tatami mats and spacious layout enhancing the overall environment.
The noisy air conditioning in the suite detracted from the overall comfort, proving to be a distraction even after reporting it. Although the cuisine was visually stunning, it lacked flavor and didn’t leave a lasting impression, which might leave some guests unsatisfied with the dining experience. Plus, those not keen on fish or rice for breakfast should consider themselves forewarned.

Staying here was such a treat! I loved relaxing in the hot spring bath after a day of exploring, and the foot massage was just what I needed to unwind. The only small downside was the Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty at times, but it didn't ruin the experience at all. 🌸
